The fifth Miri International Tattoo Festival, organised by the Kenarau Tattoo Community (Persatuan Pengukir Seni Tradisional Kenarau Miri), celebrates traditional Borneo tribal tattooing alongside modern machine work. Each day features a tattoo show and competitions, including Modern Borneo Fusion, Borneo Tribal Machine Work and Traditional Borneo Tribal categories, with Best of Show judged on the final day. The organisers list around 70 electric and 14 traditional tattoo booths, plus food and drink stalls and Borneo merchandise vendors outside the hall.
